2023 PITCH PROJECTS
PITCH INC 803 kicked off the New Year with the continuation of the Midlands Community Fridge Program and our first corporate partnership of the year with UNUM-Colonial Life to host a Hygiene Care Package Drive. Employees at UNUM "PITCH'D IN" and built 500 care pakages that included essential hygiene items and socks and snacks. We donated the first 100 care packages to the Rapid Shelter in Columbia.
FOOD RECOVERY PROGRAM
We are excited to announce our first retail partnership in our Food Recovery Program. We complete weekly pickups to a local Starbucks and deliver the unpurchased, unused food items directly to the Midlands Community Fridge. These food items provide tasty, healthy snack and meal alternatives to those who visit the fridge and as always remain free to the community.
